The Irresistible Portraits team could not have been more excited to be creating wonderful memories for Erin Welch and Joe Robbins wedding day! The entire weekend was nothing but fun, fun, fun! We arrived on Friday for the rehearsal and scrumptious dinner at Caffé Luna! If you have never been there, the food is amazing! Family and friends enjoyed an intimate night of rehearsal festivities. We fit right in because we were treated like family! Actually we think we are family! Now Joe and Erin are a pair made from NC State Red and Carolina Blue!
Erin attended NC State and Joe went to Carolina. The cake topper for the groom’s cake was a complete surprise to both Erin and Joe! Wonder where their children will go to college!!!!
As you can see Erin was so stunning in her wedding gown. We think that Renda, Erin’s mom, was one of the proudest moms we have ever seen on her daughter’s wedding day. She was so excited it was contagious! Erin was so laid back…at one point Erin said “No matter what happens, at the end of the day I will be married to my best friend! How cool is that! On top of that, Renda couldn’t stop hugging us all day long!
There are no words needed…this image speaks beauty!
Family members helped and had their hand in each little detail of the wedding! Renda’s sister Robbie and her husband Alan went above beyond on this weekend. From putting together gift bags for out of town guests, preparing brunch on Sunday morning and keeping the hospitality suite open was such a blessing. That is just how Renda and her family roll!
Let’s talk flowers! As you can see the flowers were just beautiful. Again family stepped up to the plate. Renda’s cousin prepared all the flowers. Desi’s Floral Design Studio came all the way from Wilkes County! Job well done Desiree!
Look at Erin’s smile. She gets that from her mom!
Erin’s sister Lauren was the maid of honor. She flew in from London for her sister’s wedding. As you can imagine they don’t get to see each other very much. It was extra special for these ladies to be together on this wonderful day.
We had lots of fun with this crazy bunch of guys!
Everything was so beautiful.
The wedding party was second to none. They were down for any ideas we had. We just love that!!
After the ceremony the wedding party and guests headed to The beautiful Cardinal Club for the reception! Renda and Chris were the perfect hosts! Of course a grand time was had by all. The food was delicious. The band “Right to Party” was incredible! Boy, Erin and Joe’s family LOVE to dance!
The cake, created by Cinda’s Creative Cakes from Holly Springs, looked as good as it tasted!
Thank you so much to the Erin and Joe and their families for letting us have the honor of photographing such a wonderful day!
Best wishes to you Mr. & Mrs. Joe Robbins!
