October 3, 2015 was the day that Bailey and Kelly chose for their wedding. The forecast for that day called for rain, rain, and more rain. Well, you know what they say about rain on your wedding day, it’s good luck! Despite the rain, it was a pretty awesome day!
Bailey chose Historic Gold Hill Park because of all the fond childhood memories she made there. Originally, the ceremony was to be in the barn at the park. Due to the weather they moved it to the quiet, little white church in town. Adorable!
We started our day at Bailey’s mom, Amy’s house. A beautiful, southern style home out in the countryside. Bailey’s granddad had to come by and give his granddaughter a kiss!
As you can see bailey’s dress was breathtaking!
You know on a girls wedding day it’s really all about the shoes.
Kelly gave his bride a beautiful bracelet to wear on her special day.
We did take advantage of the beautiful décor in Amy’s home…southern elegance all the way!
Such a pretty lady!
Bailey’s sister and two cousins were her bridesmaids. Never a dull moment with these ladies!
Nothing but laughter, smiles and a few tears… the good kind of tears.
Bailey and her sister Makayla are extremely close to their mom! At one point I told Amy “your girls are so much like you. They laugh like you, smile like you, they are just like you”! Great job with those ladies mom!
Miranda photographed Kelly as he opened his gift from his bride to be. Top secret…. something special from Bailey!
Kelly and his guys were good with anything we wanted them to do.
These guys were a trip. A bunch of jokesters!
Kelly and his family are good ole down to earth people!
Here comes the bride….
Mr. & Mrs. Thompson
Crazy, fun wedding party!
The reception was beautifully decorated by Chelish Moore Flowers. The woman has talent! https://www.facebook.com/chelishmoore?fref=ts
And then there was cake. Bailey was so nice feeding Kelly his piece of cake! Kelly… well not so much. I’m sure she got him back!
The rain did not keep everyone from having the time of their lives! Errin from Virtual Sounds did a great job keeping everyone on the dance floor. https://www.facebook.com/virtualsounds?fref=ts They also gave guest the opportunity to get crazy in their photo booth.
It wouldn’t be a southern wedding without boots!
Family & friends danced the night away.
Mr. & Mrs. Kelly Thompson!
We wish you a lifetime of happiness!
