Karen and her crew traveled to the quaint fishing town of Southport, NC to photograph Kate and Taylor’s Oct wedding. They chose Oct 15th 2016 as “their” special day, not knowing just a week earlier Hurricane Matthew would flood this small town and devastate many surrounding areas. Luckily, their venue was untouched and the town was somewhat back to normal by their wedding day!
We started our day at the historic Cape fear house!
The girls were so much fun!
Look at the beautiful ladies in eggplant!
Kate and Taylor’s fur baby, Tucker, even came by to visit!
Their first look was so special overlooking the water.
Check out Taylor and his good looking groomsmen and one grooms lady!!
It was the perfect setting for an intimate ceremony overlooking the water.
The light was perfect for a few beautiful images of the bride and groom.
We loved the open airy feeling of The Southport Community building! It was a blank canvas for Kate to create her vision.
Sweet father-daugther and mother-son dances!
We snuck outside for a few moon images!
The new Mr. & Mrs. ended with a sparkler exit and a fabulous old truck!
