Jaxon needs your help/ NC Children’s Photographer supports toddler.

Just recently I had the great joy of photographing the cutest little boy. His name is Jaxon. He’s a year old. He is extra cute and extra tiny. You can’t help but snuggle him when you see him. His mom contacted me because they needed a professional portrait of him to  help bring awareness to his story.

Jaxon’s story is hard for any mom to handle. Jaxon has Chronic Granulomatous Disease (CGD). CGD is an inherited primary immunodeficiency disease (PIDD) which increases the body’s susceptibility to infections. He is in need of a bone marrow transplant to replace his current immune system so that he can fight off bacteria and fungus and live a normal life.

Currently Jaxon can not be exposed to outside elements. This disease puts him at great risk for illness and makes him susceptible to bacteria that his body cannot fight off. He has been hospitalized many times due to this aliment and is at great risk because it is very hard for him to fight off the things we easily get over.

Without a bone marrow transplant the hematologist has said he will not live to double digits. That’s why he needs your help!

We are asking that you help us spread the word to find a match for Jaxon. As of now, over 400 people have registered to see if they are a match. Go to  his page to see his story. https://www.facebook.com/jaxonsmatch/photos/p.642729219434052/642729219434052/?type=1&theatre . Please go to https://join.bethematch.org/s/landing?language=en_US&ref=Jaxon&refUrl=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.facebook.com%2FENDREFURL and register! They will send a simple mouth swab kit to your home to see if you are a match. You may be the person that saves this little boy’s life!

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Jaxon’s mom through messenger on his facebook page.

Also, Please pray for this little man in hopes that they will find a match and give him the full, beautiful life that he deserves!!

God Bless,
